James Suzio, Principal
Jim Suzio, Principal of Suzio Insurance, has worked in the insurance industry for over 33 years. He has earned membership in the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley University as well as a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut.
He began his insurance training with The Hartford and joined the agency in 1991. Jim is past President of the Independent Insurance Agencts of CT and has served on numerous Agent Councils for various insurance companies. Currently, he sits on the Utica National Agents Council.
Jim is also on the Board for the Member First CT Federal Credit, serving as President. And he is past President of the Meriden Boys & Girls Club. Jim lives in Meriden with his wife, Maureen and has 3 sons.
Michelle Kline, Personal Lines Account Representative
Michelle Kline has worked in the insurance industry since 2005, and has expertise in both personal and commercial insurance. She has earned both the AIS (Associate in Insurance Services) and AINS (Associate of General Insurance) certifications. In 2010, Michelle began working as a Customer Service Specialist at Suzio Insurance, where she enjoys meeting and working with clients whether it is through mail, email, phone or in person.
Michelle lives in Meriden with her husband Troy and her son Jaxon.
Cynthia Marinaro, Personal Lines Account Representative
Cynthia Marinaro has been in the insurance industry since 1989 and has been part of the Suzio Insurance team since February 2019. She enjoys meeting new people and helping them with the insurance process. Most of her time outside of work is spent with her family and friends or at the beach and concerts.
Kathy Douglas, Commercial Lines Account Representative
Kathy Douglas has over 25 years of experience in Commercial Lines and Administrative aspects of insurance agencies and carriers. She is the has a passion for assisting clients and works to ensure they feel secure and well prepared.
Kathleen Carroll, Commercial Lines Account Representative
Kathy Carroll has been in the insurance industry for 32 years working on the carrier side as well as the agency side. With a passion for assisting clients and a deep understanding of policy details, Kathy goes above and beyond to address inquiries and concerns. Her dedication to providing exceptional service reflects our commitment to being there for our clients at every step of their insurance journey. She also has her Certified Insurance Counselor designation.

Paul Buczak, Account Executive, Commercial/Residential
Paul Buczak has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, with expertise in property and casualty insurance as well as commercial and personal lines of insurance. He holds a B.A. from Bryant University and is a certified CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter). Paul has been an Account Executive at Suzio since 2006; he enjoys dealing with both customers and co-workers on a daily basis.
Fran Villella-Raboin, Claims Specialist
Fran Villella-Raboin has over twenty five years of experience in the insurance industry. As a Claims Specialist with Suzio, Fran is the go-to person when it comes to navigating the often complex world of insurance claims. With a background in claims management and a commitment to swift and fair resolutions, Fran ensures that our clients have a seamless experience during challenging times. Her attention to detail and empathy make her an invaluable asset to our team.

Janice Taylor has over 40 years of experience in the industry, and has been a member of the Suzio Insurance team for over 35 years.
Franklin Suzio, Founder, In Memoriam
Franklin Suzio, Founder of Suzio Insurance, began his career in the insurance industry in1955. He established Suzio Insurance Center in 1974, and lead the business for 38 years, loving his work so much that his idea of retirement was to stop wearing a tie. He enjoyed many years of semi-retirement until his passing in February, 2023.
Frank belonged to the Lions Club of Meriden, the Unison Club of Meriden, and the Knights of Columbus. A strong believer in Meriden’s community, he generously supported many local causes and organizations - making donations without ever seeking the spotlight or recognition. His mutual respect and admiration for his staff and his clients is the foundation of the business today.
